As both an acupuncture patient and practitioner, I have learned
that acupuncture can touch you deeply and profoundly by supporting your
health and well being at the body, mind and spirit levels. I welcome the
opportunity to support you through this simple yet amazing work.
Prior to becoming licensed in DC and Maryland, I received my Master's in Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute.
I am also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist through the National
Acupuncture Detoxification Association, and I have received my Diplomate in
Acupuncture through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine.
Prior to acupuncture, my work around the DC region and nationally focused on family support,
child abuse and neglect prevention and father involvement programs; HIV/AIDS prevention, education and testing;
and women's reproductive health including prenatal education, pregnancy
testing and family planning counseling.
